Jetty and Beaches
Jetty
Only minutes away is the longest wooden Jetty in the Southern Hemisphere. Approximately 1.8 km long it was used in the early 1900's for transporting timber from the South west region onto tall ships and then on to London.
The Busselton Jetty is now used for Tourism purposes. You can now travel on the Busselton Jetty train out to The Underwater Obseratory and check out the marine life under the jetty.
The area in front of the start of the jetty is about to undergo a complete revamp which will include Bars and Restaraunts , public open space.
Beaches
If you are into the relaxing beach holiday, then Busselton have some of the best. The nearest beach to Port Geographe is Wonnerup beach which you can access by four wheel drive. It is a very safe beach to take the family to and check out the local dolphins at play.
